This series of movies is useful for studying Faraday's Law. A coil of wire is connected to a galvanometer and a magnet is moved through or around the coil. You can use video analysis to measure the speed of the magnet. Remember that there is a short delay between the actual current flow and the movement of the galvanometer needle.
